The eight day/seven night Kehilla Program is designed for groups of 12-15 adults who want to actively participate in Jewish Community Service in selected European Jewish communities.
The Kehilla Program Mission goals and objectives are to:
- Establish cultural, religious and personal relationships with Hungarian, Romanian and Ukrainian Jewry.
- Assess short/long term Hungarian, Romanian and Ukrainian Jewish community needs vis a vis meetings/discussions with Jewish community leaders.
- Chesed activities in Budapest, Munkacs and Sighet
- Meetings with Israeli and American Ambassadors, Jewish leadership; and non-Jewish leadership about Jewish safety, security civil rights and anti-Semitism in Hungary, Romania and Ukraine.
